After working for several years as the activity director at Fullerton Gardens and Sunflower Gardens,
both 70+ bed assisted living facilities specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care, followed by
several years at Saddle Back Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills, Christine Wilkes decided to open an
assisted living facility of her own. Using all her knowledge and experience, she selected a home with
the perfect location and floor plan, decorated it in a bright, homely fashion, obtained a state license
and fire department clearance, and opened Meadowlark Gardens in the summer of 1996 with one
location near the Meadowlark golf course. Since that time, we have grown to 6 locations, all within a
few miles of our original home.

Over the years, Meadowlark Gardens has cared for and continues to care for the loved ones of
many local residents including many doctors. We maintain a close relationship with all our residents
and their families to provide the best care possible and work diligently to meet the specific
expectations of each family.

As we have grown, we added administrators to increase the care and dedication to our
residents. We presently have two additional licensed administrators who are available to help
families care for their loved ones and support with scheduling doctor visits, medication
management, arranging birthday parties, providing special meals, and providing companionship
to the residents.
